Awards

INSTRUCTION
Since joining K-State in , I have received a total of seven teaching awards, one at the national level, two at the university level, and four at the college level. Below is the list of teaching awards I have received.

  • Kansas State Bank Teaching Award, College of Business Administration, Kansas State University, Fall 2009.
  • Graduate Students’ Professor, College of Business Administration, Kansas State University, 2004.
  • Ralph Reitz Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award, College of Business Administration, Kansas State University, Spring 2003.
  • Commerce Bank Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching, Kansas State University, 2002.
  • Graduate Students’ Professor, College of Business Administration, Kansas State University, 2002.
  • Faculty Member of the Week, Kansas State University, September 2002. Selected by University Faculty Senate for the overall teaching, research and service contributions to the University.
  • Instructional Innovation Award, Honorable Mention, 2001 Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) National Meeting, San Francisco, November 2001.
  • Conoco Excellence in Teaching Award, Kansas State University, 1992.

RESEARCH
Since 2001, I have received eight best paper awards in international conferences. The number of papers contributed and the number of awards given in those conferences are provided below. I have also received four CBA Outstanding Research Awards, an award given to one CBA tenure-track faculty member every year.
